BRAND OVERVIEW

Taiga Coolers first began in 2013 as a small idea between two Texas outdoorsmen in search of a high-performance, customizable cooler for their adventures in the rugged landscapes across the Lone Star State. Both avid hunters and fishermen, John Hohenshelt and Adam Artho knew the struggles of using an unreliable cooler - cheap materials, broken lids, leaks, warm drinks, wasted food. While durability and toughness were important factors in the engineering process, taking an inventive approach to personalization was at the heart of Hohenshelt and Artho’s operation.

With 25-plus years combined experience in business management and ownership, the native Texans designed a specialized product by patenting an injection molding process that allowed for unique personalization.

After a year of extensive research, rigorous testing, and innovating a patented process, the first hard-sided Taiga cooler was produced in Arlington, Texas in 2014. Matching industry-leading wall thickness and insulation, the cooler offers durability and quality. The veteran-owned brand has expanded into designing the first sustainability-built, hard-side cooler, the Taiga Terra. Taiga also offers soft-sided coolers, cooler accessories, drinkware, and gear all in a variety of appearances and customizable options with unlimited single, dual, and multi-color combinations.

Taiga Coolers is headquartered in Mesquite, Texas.
